The KINETIC Road Machine turbo trainer is a stable, well built trainer finished in a rather striking shade of green. The turbo takes a little building to get going, and the screw adjusted roller mechanism takes a little work to get right.
The KINETIC Road Machine doesn't have any resistance control but the fluid unit firms up with speed, so in effect it's very similar to the forces experienced on the road. The metal roller can slip, and you need to use low gears for recovery as the unit is very stiff.
Very road like feel. Smooth feeling and very secure.
Expensive for a trainer without any resistance control.
